Reid Mitchell and HD Property Consultants today announce a merger to form a single, integrated construction consultancy providing Project Management, Cost Management, Building Surveying, CDM Consultancy, and Fund Monitoring services. The new venture, Reid Mitchell HD, will combine complementary strengths to deliver premium construction consultancy services for public and private sector clients across the UK.
Both Reid Mitchell and HD Property Consultants were founded in 2018 and have grown organically in parallel, developing their individual client bases in complementary sectors. Following the merger, Reid Mitchell HD has also transitioned to employee ownership, adopting a model which secures the independence of the combined business, and aligns completely with the values and culture built by both businesses.
What this means for clients:

The merger brings together a team of 38 across our offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh. A new Aberdeen office is also being launched in December with a view to growing the client base in the North-East and servicing existing framework instructions.
